Our Team

Amy Collins, President

Originally from West Virginia, Amy earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Marshall University in Huntington. She has held accounting positions with various companies including Volvo Parts North America, Lorillard Tobacco Company, Anchor Packing Company and Key Homes.

Over the years, Amy developed the discipline and attention to detail necessary for exact and complete accounting records. As CFO for her husband's mechanical contracting company, Amy was frequently asked to assist other small business start-up owners with their accounting, tax and QuickBooks software needs. She explains, "I started my own accounting firm because I enjoy working with small business owners. People tend to view accountants as introverted, number-crunchers. We pride ourselves in being personable, accessible, enthusiastic and highly responsive to our clients' needs."

Amy and her family are active members of Mayodan United Methodist Church. She serves on the Board of Directors of First Citizens Bank in Madison and is currently the Treasurer of Help, Inc. - Center against Domestic Violence, a Rockingham County non-profit agency.

Nadine Cobb, Accountant

Nadine started her accounting career while in college working for a supplier of petroleum products in her hometown of Stuart, VA. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Averett College in Danville, VA. Her accounting experience is in various industries including property management, transportation, manufacturing, and banking. Her most recent position was with the finance team of Unifi, Inc.

Her accounting experience and strong work history has enabled her to discover her true calling - helping people and business owners utilize accounting information. With her newfound purpose she joined the firm in May, 2009.

Nadine and her family are active members of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She enjoys spending time in various outdoor activities with her family. She also has a creative side that is reflected in her work as a photographer.

Cindy Hopper, Bookkeeper

With expertise acquired from years of work in her family's business ventures, Cindy is proficient in payroll and related taxes, sales tax, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation and individual income tax preparation. A graduate of Madison-Mayodan High School and inspired by family entrepreneurs, she has successfully owned and operated several small businesses. A QuickBooks user since 1999, Cindy joined the firm in April, 2007 and enthusiastically shares her knowledge and skills to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Cindy and her family are active members of First Baptist Church-Mayodan. She enjoys travelling and reaching out to others locally and throughout the United States through various mission groups.

Our Location

Physically located at 104 West Hunter Street in Madison, we are members of the Western Rockingham County Chamber of Commerce, the Eden Chamber of Commerce, the Reidsville Chamber of Commerce, the Greensboro Builders Association, the North Carolina Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.

We support community non-profits including the Animal Protection Society of Rockingham County, Camp Carefree - Special Olympics of Rockingham County, Caregivers of Rockingham County, Free Clinic of Rockingham County, Madison Heritage Festival, Madison-Rockingham Rescue Squad, Madison-Mayodan Rotary and Rockingham County Community College Foundation.
